Yaşamı ve kariyeri

Smart 13 Eylül 1951'de Seattle, Washington'da doğdu.²³ 1979'da oyunculuğa tiyatro ve televizyon yapımlarında rol alarak başladı.^{45 6} Ağırlıklı komedi türünde projelerde görüldü.⁷ En çok Charlene Stillfield rolünde yer aldığı Designing Women adlı televizyon prodüksiyonu ile dikkat çekti.⁸ Ayrıca 24 televizyon dizisinde Martha Logan karakteri dahil olmak üzere bazı dramatik türde yapımlarda yer aldı. Jean oyunculuk dışında; American Dad, Big Mouth, Hey Arnold, Hercules The Animated Series, Kim Possible, Nutri Ventures, The Powerpuff Girls, Robot Chicken, Static Shock, Tiny Toon Adventures, Spider-Man (2017) ve The Fairly OddParents gibi animasyonlarda seslendirme yapmıştır.⁹¹⁰¹¹
